Navotas Polytechnic College joined the Mangrove Tree Planting activity conducted by the local government of Navotas on Wednesday, September 13 at the Tanza Marine Tree Park, Sitio Pulo, Tanza 1, from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
During the activity, about 200 mangrove saplings were planted by 146 participants from 25 LGU departments and external agencies represented.
The activity was part of the bayanihan efforts mounted in celebration of the 66th birthday of President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos.
Mr. Erickson dela Cruz, staff of the Student Affairs Office, and Mr. Cirilo Crehencia, coordinator of the National Service Training Program, joined the Mangrove Tree Planting activity to represent NPC.
